Golf at school

Project "Golf at school" aimed at promoting sports in school environments encompassed 88 schools from 18 regions of Russia (Moscow, Saint-Petersburg, Chelyabinsk; Krasnoyarsk, Krasnodar, Primorsky Territories; Moscow, Leningrad, Samara, Irkutsk, Rostov, Ryazan, Sverdlovsk, Tver', Volgograd, Sakhalin regions; Republics of Crimea and Chuvashiya).

Russian Golf Association's programme "Promoting Golf in the System of School Education" has been recommended for trial by the experts' and method advisors' council of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation and has been approved to enhance the physical upbringing system in the RF educational institutions.

The programme will allow for a team of talented juniors to be built to successfully represent our country at the international competitions in 2019/2020.

LET US CREATE THE NATIONAL TEAM TOGETHER!

At the onset of April 2015, the Russian Olympic Committee (ROC) launched the first contest in creating and promoting sports at schools. All-Russian sports federations and associations could take part in the contest with their projects targeting promotion of sports in the school environment. The contest resulted in selecting the project by the Russian Golf Association "Golf at School" that received scholarship for the project to be supported in three aspects: material and technical procurement, training teaching staff and methods consultancy.
